When my niece gets a call from this number(976)258-4899 the caller id reads out that its a call from the FBI?? And she doesn't know what to make of the calls. When she goes to answer it ,they hang up an the number is automatically deleted. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. Concerned aunt
iRS scam don't listen to what they have to say they sound from India they will try to threaten you with an arrest warrant don't send pre payed card or money cards
Scammer scaring people with "your computer is downloading malicious programs". Not sure what he is trying to sell - possibly wanting to have people install his software so he can control their computer - and have full access to the data.
