I am with a Law Enforcement agency in Minnesota .I had a call from a citizen that this number called him saying he owed 1200 dollars from an old payday loan and that they would take 600 to settle the matter or he was going to be charged in court.I called this number and asked their bussiness info, a rude woman said they were Capital Providence in Atlanta She would not give the address. This is a Scam real bill collectors MUST give you their address for validation And MUST stop calling if you submitt the request in writing

Spammer called from this number (spoofed?) and said about "impending lawsuit from IRS". leaving a number to call back. Be careful - IRS never make those calls and, in fact, they don't even know your phone number. If needed they will communicate with you by USPS service.
This call was from "Ricky" from Windows about my computer. I told "Ricky" I'd heard all about him and his scam on TV and I wasn't biting!
This number is a scam. On caller ID it shows up from Texas. The automated message left says the IRS is filing a law suit against me. However no letters were ever received from the IRS and I have no problem with the IRS. I did not call back the number they left.

They were calling my 93 yr old mother over and over telling her they had left a package outside of her door. She was very worked up and I want them to stop immediately!
They have called me repeatedly throughout the day; often 2-3 times in a row when I didn't answer or rejected the call. It should also be noted that my number is listed on the national "Do Not Call" list, for all that does for stopping nuisance calls.
