The caller stated that I had recently inquired about my social security benefits...it was a recorded message, so I immediately hung up. Anyone had this experience?
Keep getting phone calls from this number...recording says they are calling from the IRS...very garbled/muffled recording....says I need to get an attorney...how would the IRS get my cell phone number.

Automated message stating that the IRS was suing me and I was to call 210-418-5726. Searching that "210" number reveals scam warnings.

Fake?
These people keep calling me, too. Even if I let it ring, they keep calling back until I pick up. Heavy accent, just like previous comments. I don't know what their game is, but there is nothing trustworthy about them. They say they are Windows Support Reps, and that my computer is sending them messages that there is something terribly wrong, and that if I don't do what they say and get them information off my computer for them there will be serious problems. It was annoying the first time they called. Now it's just creepy because they keep calling back no matter how much I tell them to stop calling me. And they won't let me get off the phone. Meanwhile, because of the accent, and because they are talking to me like they know everything and like I'm and idiot for not just doing what they ask, it never feels like clear communication and I never think they are understanding a word I am saying. So I hang up on them and the next time they call they say we were disconnected somehow. So creepy. Next time (if there is a next time) I'll do what this other commenter said and call them scammers. How do we report these people??
showed up in my phone log, doesn't ring a bell
These people call me repeatedly. They say they are Windows Support Reps and speak with a very heavy (Indian-esque?) accent. So heavy I thought they were talking about real windows the first time. They say there is a problem with your computer and ask for your IP address. I don't even have a Windows computer so I instantly knew this was a scam. Every time I get one of these I tell them they are scammers, they say no or hang up. The last guy even asked, <br />How do you know this is a scam?...BECAUSE I don't even have anything Windows! And you guys are fishing for IP addresses! Take me off your list!... Big pause... Then, you don't have Windows?? ... STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE! and I hung up. <br />Usually they hang up before I get that far. <br />Don't give these people ANY INFORMATION.<br />
I got a call from this number about three days ago (11/18/2014) and I said, "Hello?"<br />No response, so I repeated myself, "Hello?"<br />Then this number hung up.

Who is this????
Just got a call this morning (November 21, 2014) from this number, saying that this is the IRS's final warning and they will be filing a lawsuit against me. Good to know this is a scam number, but wish there was a way to report them to the actual IRS...
This telemarketer keeps calling me even though I have added my number to their DO NOT CALL list (by calling the number back).
