I got an image on whatsapp from this number. Is it a virus, scam, hack or something? I blocked that number and I wonder how they got to me.
These people phoned with the premise that I could be in line for a $680.00 heating rebate and 50 % off my yearly heating costs. After a number of questions they said I qualified and they would make an appointment to check out the heating / cooling system in my house. I had to tell them twice that I did not have and never did have air conditioning in my house before they caught on. When I told them none of the six or seven appointment times were possible for me they, and I asked them if I could phone them later and make another appointment they must have put me on hold and after about four minutes the line went dead. This certainly looks like some sort of a scam to myself and anyone I spoke to regarding it. They said they were part of the provincial government and they were "Ontario Savings". Could not google anything about them or get any information on their phone number unless I wanted to pay some company on line which said they had all the information, but I'd have to join their membership.<br />No thanks. got a call from this number saying that i someone has filed a case against me for fraud. it is not even in my wildest dream to defraud no one, so i know this is a scam.
I received a call that told me to call this number, 1-855-982-3950. Supposedly I am under investigation from State of Texas for fraud allegations and unless I call this number and talk to someone at extension 103 warrant will be issued for me. They also said the phone call serves as official notice for the case

This number just texted me and tried to scam me. I have a pair of shoes listed on Craigslist for $40. They offered $240 if I would ship it to Africa for a birthday present. They wanted my Pay Pal address so send the money to. I believe that it's a hacking scam because they stopped texting when I pushed for information.
