On tinder in Edmonton I was given this number to text. It was clearly a scam so I never did. Good luck to those who do.
Received a call from a "lieutenant Kevin Palmer" saying from local city, San Diego Sheriff's department and that he had something on his desk from recorders office that I needed to contact him about asap. Called number-mail box full, looked up that branch of Sheriff's Dept. and called them. They don't have anyone by that name listed. Sheriff Dept. said 1. Get a badge # then independently verify that number-if scams they may give a badge that won't match 2. NEVER give any info on phone. Legitimate officers will always have your info already. Very authentic sounding phone call. And conincidentally: recently had possible ID theft on two separate family members and had different types of Scary "Authority" calls for each.
Scam don't listen to nothing they have to say. When asking them how did u get my number?they hunged up. I called back n the number was disconnected.<br /><br />

The caller claimed to be Christina Brown from the Department of Legal Affairs of the US Treasury and requested to be called back right away related to "enforcement actions that have been started." No further details were given, nor has their been any other type of contact, such as a letter. It sounds like a scam.
Horrible scam tried to have someone load $150. 00 to a green dot for a "grant". I work for a retail store and I had a man come in here with special needs who thought it was real. These people should rot because they are praying on the inocent

Got a call from this number, they claimed I had pending claims filed against, me and I needed to get them taken care of. I asked for proof and they gave the bank acc as well as dates and names. Didn't believe them at first, but once I paid they did provide a "Paid in Full" statment that I got a few minutes after clearing my balance.
