Supposed to be a number for Missouri Unemployment, but recording says this number cannot be reached from my area.
I just had the same thing, telling me he didn't know what this was about and that I would have to call the # to find out. He stated he was a process server and my mom explained I was out of town -he said "well I can put this on a courtesy hold, but she needs to be home to accept and sign the papers" - BULL- if they were process servers, they wouldnt call. They are a collection company of some kind trying to scare people into calling them back. this should be illegal.<br />
Scammers. They called me about a recent PC service they performed in the month of June. When I told them that I do not remember any service performed in June, they paused for a second, and they finally said "mmmkay..." Then CLICK! These are scam artists trying to take your money, and not only that, but they also want to put viruses and malware on your computer, and completely destroy it. If you see this number come up, or 1 (230) 120-3, don't answer. Or answer, and be warned. Better yet, block them.

The call came in as unknown caller. A recording stated that we were being sued by the IRS. A phone # was provided for us to call back in order to receive more info. We did not call back.
Is this a number used for scamming purposes? Saying you meet requirements for a loan.

They said they were the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against us.
These people "Unknown Caller" call and say they are calling for Police Reserve. I've never given to them, they are asking for money, I tell them we are not giving and to not call back. We'll see what happens.
