Call and never leave a message, tried to find out who it is, when you call back there is no dial tone.
A pop-up appeared on my new laptop telling me to call this number because I had a serious security problem on my computer. I called and a foreign-sounding person told me he could fix the problem but he would have to take control of my computer. He said he was part of one of several companies that helped customers with software problems. I declined his help and hung up.

I had this number show up on a pop-up on my computer screen urging me to call right away. There was no identification as to where this originated so I did not call. I suspect a scam. What is this?
