Caller told me she was calling to collect for a delinquent payment for complimentary tours of timeshares on the east coast. She claimed we had called for the complimentary reservations in 2009 via phone message. I told her to mail all the info (she did not ask for an address).
Received a call from 331-076-4961 and a man speaking Spanish claimed to be a cousin of mine but wouldn't tell me his name. I didn't recognize the voice and told him I didn't know who he was and then the phone hung up. He called again saying he was driving through the mountains and that's why the call hung up but when I continued to tell him that I didn't want to guess because I had no idea who he was he then hung up again. I looked up the number and the area code is from Illinois. I do NOT have family from that state. This is definitely as scam or prank! BEWARE!!

someone is advertising from this number ( 780-991-4914 ) When you pick up it goes into a thank you for choosing West Jet speech. That is as far as they got with me.
Nobody answered....phone silence, then a hang up. Put the number on my block list.

Answered the call - no one is there. No static. No breathing. No noise at ALL. I put the call on mute for several minutes - nothing. So far - this is the first call to me directly to a work number.
I received 2 calls from this number on October 28, 2014. The caller did not leave a message on my cell phone or my office phone.

Scammers using Alliant Energy as their source. Saying power will be shut off within and hour and a half unless bill is paid. Called Alliant to see if this was true. spoke to customer service and was told it is a scam and to let the local police know.<br />
