This number called me. I didn't know who it was so I let it go to voicemail. No message was left.
I'm providing the following info so that if others have had similar experiences, the collected information might assist in tracking down the "debt" collector woman.<br /><br />Info: On 10/28/14 - Received call in the evening from a woman, who sounded black (sorry) who spoke with me about an alleged debt of a young adult child. She refused particulars about the debt, e.g., amount, when incurred, identity of the loan maker. She represented herself as working for a "pre-litigation firm", but refused give the name of the firm or say where she was calling from. She refused to give out her phone number or her name. She demanded information about the child. She finally stated "well, I consider her served". During the conversation, she mentioned an address of a home I own, unoccupied for the past three years, and identified it to the child. Later that night she, somehow having obtained the phone number of the child, phoned the child and left the message "...you have been served. To my knowledge, the child is debt free for collection purposes. I immediately called back, using my phone caller ID, but the number led nowhere.<br /><br />My spouse, an attorney opined that given the information she seemed to have, and the threats, coupled with our involvement in a loan three years ago in Santa Cruz, that it sounded as though the woman was perpetrating a scam based on knowledge obtained from the closed loan matter.
They said they were from the IRS and I was to call them back asap or receive a warrant for my arrest.

I think this was a soliciting disability attorney's office trying to steal disability clients.

I received an email supposedly from this phone # but flagged as spam by my email server. It's interesting that only one site pulls up this phone # and it doesn't give any information about where it's located. A seperate search of area code lists don't show that area code 783 even exists.
this number is from the people who made a Fake IRS call that i owe taxes and there is a threatening message from them. Do not believe them.

Called 10/29/14 at 9:38 a.m. No message or anyone on the line. I am on the "Do Not Call List," but that's a joke.
This phone number is a mask for a 1-855 phone for a supposed debt collector
