A guy claiming to be Peter Anderson with a thick accent told me to contact him about tax evasion before it went to a federal court. The call came from an "unknown" number but he left this number to call back on. the IRS sends out letters before calling or making any other type of contact. this is a scam.

very rude caller. wouldn't say where he was from. Probably a crook.
Caller identified himself as being from "the medical center," and he asked questions about what kind of surgeries I had. I told him I was uncomfortable giving out this information, and he said it was perfectly safe. He spoke English, but I could not understand him because of a heavy accent. I terminated the call.

I've received over 10 phone calls from this number within 4 days. Twice I've answered and no one replies.
