Idiots called at 3:27 a.m.! It was a hang up with no messg. We don't know anyone from this state.
Will repeatedly call at 1AM and 7AM. When I would answer the number, the caller would just breathe heavily into the phone - now I don't answer at all

He informed me that my social security number had been red flagged by the FTC, he kept saying that I was the first customer that this had ever happened to. I asked for the FTC's phone number and he first refused to give it to me and demanded that I go get another moneypak of $150 and when I refused he went on to get aggressive over the phone with me saying that this was not his fault, it was mine that I should have known I was red flagged. I told him he was scamming me and I demanded the number to the FTC. He gave me a number which is 551-200-5858 and I left a voicemail. When the person called me back he said he worked for the FTC, his name was Shawn and he gave me a badge number. By then, I had pulled up the real FTC number. He asked me for the last four digits of my social, so I gave him a fake one and he said oh you're red flagged because of medical bills. I said huh that's funny because that isn't even the last four of my social security and hung up. Danielle the first lady I spoke with called me right after I got off the phone, saying that I had spoke with Shawn, repeated his badge number, and I said look, you just stole from me and hung up. I have filed a complaint with greentdot and the FTC. Watch out for these people.

They'll even tell you to go to the BBB and look them up, sure there are legitimate Cash Advance America's but THIS IS NOT ONE! They are scammers and will insist on $100 "good faith" payment prior to your loan. After that they will tell you that you have been red flagged by the Federal Trade Commission and demand another payment of $151 to remove you from the red flag. Which is another part of the scam.

Called in the middle of the night and said he was going to kill me then hung up. Reported to authorities but nothing has happened yet. They said they were covered up with complaints about threatening phone calls like this. Some local bikers said they could find out who it is and shut them down if I want.
