Got a recorded message saying the IRS is making a final attempt to contact me, and would now proceed with legal action. When I tried to call back, it said the call could not be completed.
This is a scam. Caller tries to get you to set up paypal account. Tried to buy a tractor on craigslist. Never even came to look at it.
Appears to be some kind of scam.
This number fills my cell phone Voicemail with up to 30 to 40 calls a day. When I call it back, I get a recording telling me to call my local school for a possible substitute job. I want these calls to stop. I don't live anywhere near Pennsylvania
IRS Scam: This no. was the CALLER ID, automated message that IRS was filing suit and to call 202-470-6797 immediately.
The female caller said I was receiving a final notice from the IRS and they IRS is claiming a law suite against me. She gave a phone number but I feel this is a hoax and just hung up. Googled the phone number and it is non-existent.
Got a call from this number with someone pretending to be the police and having my grandson in jail and needing money.

I answered the first time and could not understand what the man was saying but it was something about mega-millions. I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. He called back 4 mire times but I dudnt answer and finally took the phone off the hook. This is pure harassment. Why??
This particular phone number (651-219-1554) claims to be Lt. Michaels with the Washington County Sheriffs Department.<br /><br />Hang up immediately!! It is all a scam as they say you have missed a court date in Washington County and that there is a warrant out for your arrest. They say that you had a traffic violation caught on Washington County intersection camera's.<br /><br />They try and get you to purchase cards from local gas stations (quite expensive) and then they tell you to call the number listed above as soon as you buy the cards.<br /><br />They state that you have a new court date scheduled and to bring the cards with you to the Washington County Courtthouse and that you will be totally refunded afterwards.<br /><br />Again, hand up immediately as this nothing but a scam.
This number has called several times over the past month. Whomever it is hangs up just after I answer, never saying anything. If they reach my answering service, they never leave a message, just a empty space, then hang up. Very annoying. Online search says it's not a real number. (?) Then why is it displaying on Caller ID??

Phone number appears as source in email supposedly from eFax saying I have an e-fax with link to download it. Area code 437 appears to be in Toronto, Canada and I don't know anyone there. The link probably installs malware so don't click it!
1-844-271-2650 IS A SPOOFED NUMBER BY COMENITY. IT WILL SHOW UP AS "TOOL FREE NUMBER" ON CALLER ID.
Just received a call from this number. I could not understand much of what the person was saying, due to his thick Indian or Pakistani accent. Supposedly called from some technical center regarding my computer. From what I could understand, he was trying to say I left myself vulnerable to hackers and viruses because I did not have help in connecting to the internet. /got very upset and hung up on me, when I told him I could not understand him through his accent.
