Said they were from the IRS, which I knew they were not. Did not give an IRS identification number of who was calling. Said a case was filed and for me to call some number, but did not give a case no. Probably a scam. I have dealt with IRS before and this was not it.

According to multiple phone number data sites 726 is not an assigned area code also have never seen any prefix number begin with 0. Let the machine pick up and a few seconds later a live person said "hello" several times then hung up. Must be a new scam of some sort who else would use a cover number like this?

this is a credit card scam. They call all the time. I am on the Do NOt Call List
