This person should be brought to jail. They used this number as a decoy ploy and disconnected immediately afterwards.
I get calls from this number 2 times a day, unsolicited, telling me they can help with my student loans, which have been paid for at least 20 years. It is a computerized call, with the option to leave a message which I have tried, mail box is full or press 9 to discontinue future calls which I have done numerous times. I am on the Do Not Call registry, and have filed a complaint for each call to no avail.<br />

I just got a call from these people pretending they are the IRS and threatening that the IRS is going to sue me. They ask that you call a number back. This is definitely a scam as I have no problems with the IRS and I know they do not call you. Who is this and how can I report them?

I received a call from this number (866-207-5107). Firstly, it comes up on my phone as "Unknown". Next, They didn't leave a name of who the woman was that left a voicemail. She stated a case number and that I had to call and give them my address to my home & work because "they" are filing suit. Well she never states exactly who "they" are. Never references what this supposed suit is for. I've seen this quite a few times on the news in the last couple weeks - and this call seems to fall into the same identical pattern, word for scripted word. I am under the belief that this is some type of scam.<br /><br />
This # called me and left a message.... I hesitated but then i responded. I couldn't believe I forgot about this but the women was very very nice to me. I recieved the documents to my email first because I didnt know who they were. I took care of this and no more calls or action taken. The company name is NRS.
