Calerl ID as from Jamaica. Did not answer as I know no one in Jamaica.

Answered call from this number, and there was nothing but dead air on the other end. I suspect it's some sort of robocall to verify that it is a legit number and now my number will be sold to other telemarketers. The National Do Not Call Registry is a joke! No company pays attention to it and when you bring it up, they just say "We were not aware".

odd message from this number on answering machine: "....accept calls from correctional institute, only client and attorney privilege...." ...no idea what this is

I received a call from this number they asked a name then immediately hung up .. this is a scam of some sort. I called back only to get a fax dial tone.

I got a call from a restricted number on my cell phone asking first for me by my first name and I said yes. She then said she was calling for a reference for a woman whose name I won't disclose for her privacy and because I don't know her. I told the caller I had no idea who that was. She pried a little and then said she was an investigator hired by a law firm and had my number listed in connection with a social security number and this woman. Of course I freak thinking IDENTITY THEFT AGAIN! Told her I've had the same cell number for almost 10 years, had no idea who this M..... J...... person was but I didn't know her. She gave me the 877-463-9819 number to call along with a case number to reference to let them know. I called the number, got a recording and asked for a call back because I STILL don't know what SSN they have in connection with my name and phone number. She wouldn't say why or how my name and # are connected with this woman.
