I would like to know who called me from this phone number but did not leave a message on my recorder.
This appears to be a telephone solicitation from Portland Baroque Orchestra. These calls are received early in the evening, and continue until the party answers the call. I must have received 25 such calls before picking up the phone and identifying the caller.
Very thick accent, claims to be a representative of the US Treasury. Does not state a name. Called from a different phone number a week previous from a different phone number not tied to any legitimate organization or address, 760 398 7641. Definitely a scammer.
Call three times about an hour apart so far. First time I didn't answer. Second time I answered. Claim to represent energy efficiency provider. Caller states that you have been picked for an energy home inspection to find out what improvements are needed to make your home more energy efficient. Caller asks for verification that you are who they think you are. They called me by name so obviously they know who I am. They then ask for verification of home address. I hung up. Third time I asked them why they keep calling. She said if I would verify my name she would tell me why. I told her to take me off their calling list twice. There was no reply and the line went dead. I give no personal information to anyone over the telephone if I haven't initiated the call.

Robo call. Calls you, then hangs up when you answer. Calling back, it simply disconnects.

A man with a thick Indian accent calling himself Officer Eric Smith asking for a member of my family regarding a "Legal matter with the Treasury inspector general" and stating if we did not call back to settle this tax problem someone would "show up on your doorstep" the caller ID said: ST ALBANS NY. I have research number and information and it is a SCAM
