received a call today to my cell. male on the other end had a heavy accent, and used poor grammar. I think he said something about having an International delivery for me. He didn't call me by name. I laughed and hung up.
Person from this number tried to scam me on a Craigslist item. This is a land line.<br />I live in Arizona and he is in Massachusetts. Offered the usual $30 'extra' to 'hold' it till he got my info.
Called claiming to be Publisher Clearing House
This is the 3rd call I have had today from numbers with area codes I don't recognize.The first two calls, when I googled them, I found out they were tele-marketing scams. I suspect that this is probably the same scammers, although the number did not turn up when I did a google search for it.
Wont give full number. I've had this situation on phone numbers before. they gotta be bad news, best to leave them unanswered.
I could not get anything on this number.In fact it would not even give the last three digits of the number. I tried reverse look up but still nothing. So I figured it is definitely a number that I want no part of.

This is a scam. They say you've won money and a car but you need to send money to cover 1% of the shipping. They will cover all the taxes and 99% of the shipping. The 1% that they want you to send totals $888.00. This is a Jamaican number and the person calling has a heavy Jamaican accent! HANG UP!!! DO NOT SEND MONEY!!!!<br />
I believe the same man called me today. He said his name was Brad Wilson. I was pretty surprised that his name was American when he sounded so very foreign. I do pretty well to understand for the most part but not him. He is so hard to understand that you would think he would know anyone with half a brain would realize what he was up too. I tried to call the number back & I get a disconnect although that is the number that showed on the caller ID. He said he couldn't tell me where he worked although he could tell me where I lived & my full name, grr! I have never received a call like this before & would rather not again.
