Called my home phone asked for my husband and when he got on they told him they had someone who needed to talk to him it was important.
A young man named Sanchek from Microsoft told me that my computer had malware, but curiously kept asking if I had a computer. He had no idea what I was talking about when I asked him which variant of malware infected my computer so he put on Harry Wilson his boss who likewise was confused about which variant infected my computer and he told me if I pressed some 'hot key combination' he would tell me. I refused to do this until I found out which variant infected my computer, that they must have that information or they wouldn't have called me. He got his boss named Rodriguez. I asked him him for the IP address of the infected computer and he couldn't give me that information either but he did make up a number that he said was my computer's ID number. I told him all I wanted was some simple information that he should have if was he was who he said he was, and he hadn't given me jack shit so how could he expect me to give him my credit card number and give him control over my computer so he could install malware in it.
Said his name is Frank and he was calling to tell me my computer was creating errors and to turn it off
Calls several times a week at all hours, No caller ID, no one answers when I pick it up, no one ever leaves a message!
This number belongs to Michael Durie formerly of Durie Tile and Marble. The list of complaints about this business is long and easy to find via Google. He has re-branded himself Michael Francis and is selling home inspection and renovation services. Be warned.
This is a terrible web site. I would not recommend it to anyone.
12.2.14 - Received a robo-call from this number claiming to be IRS and stating that lawsuit was being filed. Totally bogus. Gave case number to try and appear legitimate. When I attempted to call back, my call cannot be completed as dialed.
This number calls every day. Does not leave a message. When I try to call it back..."I'm sorry. Your call can not be completed as dialed"
Computer Voice stated it was a final notice from the IRS.
IRS does not make these types of calls.
The IRS only uses the US mail.
Spoofed number - left partial message on answering machine regarding "rebate" and to press 1 to receive - did not pick up
I got a call at 9 am it rang 1 full ring & disconnected, I didn't call it back just wanted to find out where it was from + I am on the Federal NO CALL LIST ..
