I have gotten several calls today 13JAN2015 from 297-973-6174. It is listed to Fernandes A per my caller ID. The background sounds like a call center. I asked who he is and what does he want - he said, "This is the Government Grant Department" in a Hispanic accent then disconnects me.
They call my place of employment and talk very rude about a bill I know nothing about. They are annoying and threathing me. What can I do.<br /><br />

Suspect INDIAN CALL CENTER SPAMMERS who have been HARASSING us for the past MONTH. Also got a call from 566-344-0801 on 1/7/15. Supposedly, these are numbers reserved for the GOVERNMENT only. WTF???

Claimed to be final notice from Internal Revenue Service prior to commencing litigation. Advised to call IRS at 253-336-6158. Smells like BS.
My sister lives in Missouri and got a text from that number. She doesn't know who it is

Company called MTS out of Santa Monica, CA explaining that my computer has a virus and they would walk me through the complicated steps to resolve the issue
Don't know the persons business, but the call came at 5am, California time, a HUGE<br />no! no! I have had to unplug my land line to sleep. Reporting is in progress.
