I just got a strange call from this number...972-985-5021. Said my computer was infected and wanted me to get on my computer and basically let him get into my computer. Said my computer had an infection and it had to do with Windows and it's very rare. Also said infections are different from viruses. When I started asking questions, he hung up on me. Had an India accent.
A voice mail left on our phone saying they were calling from the IRS, and we were about to be sued. We were asked to return their call.
This number calls our office and there is silence. After a bit the call hangs up but the line is not dropped and the operator says to hang up and then it goes to a busy signal for a long time.
This guy called (Indian accent) said he was with Windows and calling in regards to my home reporting errors on the internet. I informed him that we did not use Windows OS and asked him why he was actually calling. He said "I am calling to F*CK YOU!" I said I know that, since his inquiry did not make since which he responded to by saying "Oh you know I am calling to fu*( you, well get ready to get F*cked." Then hung up. This is going to be the down fall of a technologically challenged individual. Windows does not call you to follow up on "internet error reports" Do not be fooled on this people.
call about every half hour. cautious about answering unknown numbers these days. never leave a message. I try calling it back and it says invalid number.
