Scammers claiming to be Windows Tech Support. They install malware if you follow their instructions on you computer.
I received a call saying that I will be served papers. When the number was dialed, the phone rang and there was a generic voicemail. I also put the so called case # in my municipal court search and nothing came up. I called the police to give them a heads up on possible fraud. Especially since I shouldn't be sued for anything.
Scam. Someone claiming to be the IRS or Internal Revenue Services, instead of Service. Wanted me to call back at 360-663-4445. Threatened law suit. DON'T believe it!!! Reporting on the online scam reporting site, provided by the real IRS/treasury Dept.
Did not recognize number so did not pickup but I am tired of scam phone calls so I assumed it was another one
incoming call with recording saying it was Bank of America and my credit card was locked. I do not have a credit card or a bank account.
I got a voice message 2/28/15 which was in an agitated voice, a foreigh accent and largely unintelligible, even after listening to it twice. It said something about an "important matter", and I need to call them "before it goes to the federal courthouse" and "before you get arrested". It gave this number as a callback. I'm guessing that this is that we're-the-IRS scam that started up in late 2014, though I didn't catch the words "IRS", so it could be a new one started up by the same guys who brought us the fake IRS, following up on their earlier success.
Fake computer Techs and wanted me to download a Remote desktop connection software. Said they were from Microsoft, but if they were from Micrsoft they would have just used the Remote Desktop already on the Machine

This is a scam artist trying to say they have tracked a virus to a Windows account registered in your name (before they even know who they are speaking with). I do not even use Windows on my computer.
