These people phoned with the premise that I could be in line for a $680.00 heating rebate and 50 % off my yearly heating costs. After a number of questions they said I qualified and they would make an appointment to check out the heating / cooling system in my house. I had to tell them twice that I did not have and never did have air conditioning in my house before they caught on. When I told them none of the six or seven appointment times were possible for me they, and I asked them if I could phone them later and make another appointment they must have put me on hold and after about four minutes the line went dead. This certainly looks like some sort of a scam to myself and anyone I spoke to regarding it. They said they were part of the provincial government and they were "Ontario Savings". Could not google anything about them or get any information on their phone number unless I wanted to pay some company on line which said they had all the information, but I'd have to join their membership.<br />No thanks. This call came up on my caller ID from "Alabama". It was a robo call from the IRS saying they had been trying to reach me about a case against me and it was the final time they would cqll (I never saw that I got a call from this number before) and gave a number to call back at once which I did not get all of it, but it was a 202 area code which is Washington,DC.
Yeah I need to locate where this number is and was throughout the night of 10-13-14. Very important that I hear back immediately. Thanks
