Scammers who pretend to act as tech support for your computer, they are bullshit and have different numbers they call you from. They have an Indian accent and use white names like Steve, Mark etc...
This number calls my house several times a day. As we screen our calls and do not recognize the number, we do not answer. There is never a message on the answering machine.
Left automated message on my voicemail, as I didn't have cell phone with me. Begins with "IR filing lawsuit against you, call no. & ref. case #....." Can NOT imagine what this is about; I've never done anything illegal or improper in my life. Is this a new phish??? Definitely said IR - not more, but recording seemed to cut into the message, not a proper beginning of message. Afraid to call back...
This Phone # called me and told the IRS is suing me, and that I need to call them back at another number. It was a digital, automated voice.
Left voice mail stating IRS services suing us. Automated electronis<br />c voice message saying to call 253-336-5323.
This number called me and said that, I had applied on line for a 1500 payday loan on line and had gotten aproved.. I NEVER applied for it nor would I ever. The person knew my name but none of my personal information. When I told her that I had never applied for a payday loan and never would and that maybe someone else was using my name and number, she was quick to say she was sorry for the mix up. Just seemed a little sketchy to me. When I called the number back it said it wasnt in service. Be careful
AT&T U-Verse (uncomfirmed)
this number is for a "college tracker"
Another attempt at Fraud. This time it uses an electronic voice telling you that the IRS is going to sue you, and to call back at 06 701 6786 for more information about your case file. They don't even give you a US phone number to call! Very stupid criminals.
